Welcome to Glen A. Wilson Volleyball
Girls Volleyball Program
Welcome to Glen A. Wilson High School’s Volleyball Program! As a member of our Girls Volleyball team, you are joining a proud tradition built on character, commitment, and community.
Our mission is to cultivate a positive and competitive environment where athletes can grow both physically and mentally. Through high-level training, purposeful coaching, and team-first values, we aim to develop not just great volleyball players—but strong, confident, and resilient individuals.
Our commitment goes beyond the gym. We focus on teaching valuable life lessons:
-
Setting and achieving goals
-
Building a strong work ethic
-
Respecting teammates and opponents
-
Growing through challenges and adversity
At every practice, our athletes are expected to:
✅ Respect one another
✅ Give their personal best
✅ Finish strong
We believe that winning and fun are not separate from hard work—they are a result of it. In our program, effort, enjoyment, and achievement go hand in hand.
Whether you’re a student-athlete, parent, alumni, or supporter, we welcome you to be part of our Wilson Volleyball family. Come out and cheer for the Wildcats—we can’t wait to see you in the stands!
Athletic Online Clearance
Dear Parents,
Each athlete needs to complete a series of steps to make sure they are eligible to compete at Glen A. Wilson High School. We now have a convenient and efficient process to clear your athlete online. This will save you time and electronically store your information to be used yearly for your athlete and for multiple sports. It is very important that you have completed the school's online clearance process at www.athleticclearance.com/ prior to your first day of athletic participation. Every athlete needs to have a current Physical examination before they can train or compete with the team. This examination will need to be renewed each year to retain a current status and eligibility.
In addition to our Clearance process, each athlete needs to continue in good academic standing in order to remain eligible. Basically each student needs to maintain a 2.0 GPA and pass four classes. We are committed to helping your student reach their full academic potential during the competitive season and throughout the entire school year.
