The National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) believes that the participation in education-based interscholastic athletics can enrich each student’s educational experience, boost academic achievements, develop good citizenship and a healthy lifestyle, and promote positive relationships within the school as well as in the community.

In this spirit, the Boys Soccer Program at Glen A. Wilson High School aims at supporting the development and growth of participating students by teaching them crucial values, such as commitment, sacrifice, team work, and the accomplishment of several different goals in their lives.

It is thanks to those values that our Team has achieved great success over the last three years, under the lead of Head Coach Federico De Palma, always going far in CIF and being no less than a CIF Semifinalist last season (2018-19).

Our Program sets high expectation and goals, both inside and outside the field, and we complement our athletic achievements by always being an example of sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork. We do this through the refreshments that we offer to each and every visiting team, through our very effective “study groups”, and several other initiatives that not many programs can boast.

We look forward to seeing you at our Summer Programs - Summer Tryouts (June 3rd to June 6th) and Summer Camp (June 10th to June 27th) – to prepare another successful year and in doing so, proudly represent the incredible Wildcats family.

Online Clearance Packet

Dear Parents,

Each athlete needs to complete a series of steps to make sure they are eligible to compete at Glen A. Wilson High School. We now have a convenient and efficient process to clear your athlete online.  This will save you time and electronically store your information to be used yearly for your athlete and for multiple sports. It is very important that you have completed the school's online clearance process at www.athleticclearance.com/ prior to your first day of athletic participation.  Every athlete needs to have a current Physical examination before they can train or compete with the team. This examination will need to be renewed each year to retain a current status and eligibility.

In addition to our Clearance process, each athlete needs to continue in good academic standing in order to remain eligible. Basically each student needs to maintain a 2.0 GPA and pass four classes. We are committed to helping your student reach their full academic potential during the competitive season and throughout the entire school year.
