Girls Soccer

Roar together

As Glen A. Wilson’s Girls Soccer program our first duty is to ensure all student-athletes are students first. We strive to provide the academic support necessary for each of our student athletes to excel in the classroom. Our student-athletes commit to their studies and focus on maintaining a strong presence on school campus. Athletics is a privilege and we treat it as such; and Academics is the foundation of all success.

As a coaching unit we have dedicated the last 7 years to building the program into what it is today. As a staff we set high standards of great sportsmanship that is expected from our athletes as well as our fans. We create an environment of transformation for our girls leading to perseverance, trust, confidence, and integrity in the game and in life. It is our belief that success is more than just wins and losses. It is about the relationships we build and the young adults our student-athletes become. Our hope is that each student that comes through our program grows as a person and builds relationships that last a lifetime. Commit to being caring, honest, reflective, and HARDWORKING individuals and the athletic success will come.

When you wear the Wildcat, you are representing everyone that has ever been associated with our team and that responsibility must not be taken lightly.

Dear Parents,

Each athlete needs to complete a series of steps to make sure they are eligible to compete at Glen A. Wilson High School. We now have a convenient and efficient process to clear your athlete online.  This will save you time and electronically store your information to be used yearly for your athlete and for multiple sports. It is very important that you have completed the school's online clearance process at www.athleticclearance.com/ prior to your first day of athletic participation.  Every athlete needs to have a current Physical examination before they can train or compete with the team. This examination will need to be renewed each year to retain a current status and eligibility.

In addition to our Clearance process, each athlete needs to continue in good academic standing in order to remain eligible. Basically each student needs to maintain a 2.0 GPA and pass four classes. We are committed to helping your student reach their full academic potential during the competitive season and throughout the entire school year.
